Re: Four Nails
Dandy, Fornals leads the midfield for assists, I think only Cresswell betters him. Lots of what he does doesn’t come off, but when it does we get a goal. I loved that cheeky knockon he skillfully did to Lingard towards the end, unfortunately Lingard was a fraction off side as he would have been onto a goal, knowing Lingard.

Re: Four Nails
Hard worker - but in this team so is every single player.

I like him, but felt almost everything he did in the final third today was a mistake. That’s an issue for a forward player.

His defensive qualities are good which is why he has got plaudits for today as most of the game we were defending. His creativity needs a lot of work

Re: Four Nails
I was preferring Fredericks over 4Nails in the team selection thread but fortunately Fredericks was injured and besides unlike me Moyes knows what he is doing and picked Fornals.

His best game for a long while.

Re: Four Nails
I read somewhere he's been trying again to persuade En Nesyri to join in the summer... They were at Malaga together a few years back. En Nesyri has already said NO a few times, so Pablo must really love it at West Ham. I like him a lot, always have.

He's not the greatest, but he's a classic West Ham worker and more skilful than most credit.

Re: Four Nails
Really good game today. Aside from his workrate he won the ball back and was always looking for a quick pass forward. Excellent awareness and vision even if the pass didn't always come off. Always has decent stamina in games.
Seems to have lost confidence in his finishing but if he can work on that then he will be a really good player.
Totally justified his selection today.

Re: Four Nails
Really improving. Lovely flick around the corner in the second half shows there is a really technical player in there as well as the work ethic. Seems to love it here which is a bonus.

Proper grafter and his attitude is ace.

Re: Four Nails
Four nails is a vital member of this squad.. Always liked him and what he offers.
Reminds me of Pike in attitude.

Re: Four Nails
I like Fornals and compare him to Geoff Pike.

He always has a smile on his face and does the plain and simple donkey work, but he is also not popular amongst certain sections of our support.

Personally, I think we would be much poorer for his absence from the team or squad.

Re: Four Nails
Cracking little workhorse, with plenty of skill. He needs to find a bit more composure in front of goal, because he has shown good shooting ability for Spain U21s and in his first pre season games for us.

Plays a mean guitar, too.

Re: Four Nails
Played a role in both of the goals, the dummy run and the assist for Lingardinho.

He is not a fashionable player but works hard, has an eye for a pass, contributes with the odd goal and I love seeing him in the team. I think next season he will step it up a gear.

Re: Four Nails
I don’t get people saying Fornals cannot pass. It’s a good part of his game. He has more assists than any other midfielder we have and double of Bowen. Yes, he miss fires, but so do Bowen and Benrahma. Why pick Fornals out and say nothing about Bowen and Benrahma?

Re: Four Nails
He's our modern day ticker Boyce does a lot of donkey work but I'm sure is greatly appreciated by the team.

Re: Four Nails
I like him and he has a pass in him, definitely has the ability we've all seen it.

Just doesn't seem to produce it enough when it seems easier to do so.

Hopefully that will come.

Both he and Bowen were poor on the break yesterday, but not just them. 62% pass accuracy.
